On Judith and Reading

>> 1. Tell us a little about yourself.
Hi! I’m Judith, I’m 19 years old and I’m a self-proclaimed bookworm, aspiring writer and compulsive book buyer from the Netherlands. When I’m not reading or writing (whenever that is) I like to take pictures, listen to music and do all kinds of artsy things (drawing, painting, graphic design). Oh, and sometimes I work or go to Uni. But that’s just sometimes. Feel free to say hi to me anytime. I love meeting new people!

>> 2. What is your favorite genre? Why?
I don’t think I have a favorite genre in particular, though I love contemporary and fantasy. And dystopia. And mystery. And… oh well. You can recommend whatever to me and I’ll almost always give it a try :)

>> 3. What book is at the top of your wishlist?
Can someone PLEASE bring me Divergent #3, preferably RIGHT NOW?! Thank you. I like you. I’m also counting the days until The Retribution of Mara Dyer comes in, because SERIOUSLY. That ending.

>> 4. What are your top three favorite books?
Harry Potter, forever and always; Looking for Alaska, which makes me bawl every time; and The Hunger Games; because it’s awesome times infinity. You can ask me this question any day and it won’t ever change. But if you ask for my top ten… (you probably shouldn’t do that. Not if you have anything else to do today. Or tomorrow.)

>> 5. How long have you been blogging? What have you learnt?
I’ve been blogging since August 2012, so I’m quite new to the blogosphere still. But I have learned oh so much already (mostly about the publishing industry) and I am having the best time here! I’m not planning to leave anytime soon…

>> 6. What are your favorite aspects of blogging? What are the downers?
I absolutely love the contact with other bloggers and authors! Talking books is always a lot of fun, and doing this with people who love the same books is even better. Besides this I love to create things (whether it’s content or graphics) for everyone to see. It makes me happy.

>> 7. Describe your blog in a sentence using seven words.
I like talking about books. A lot.

>> 8. Anything you want to ask the readers?
First off, thanks Christine for having me! This was a lot of fun :) And secondly, I’d love to know which book you’ve recommended the most. Which is the one book you think EVERYONE should read?
